I have not abandoned this blog. It's just been crazy. You know what I'm talking about. My new glasses were wrong, I was diagnosed with cataracts; my breaks failed on the freeway during rush hour, and I'm having a major run of cold sores. And for the last week, due to personnel changes, I am temporarily doing two jobs at work, trying not to lose my mind. But enough about me. Let's get to what really matters....
Rich had an EGD last week with Dr A. Yee-hah!! The ulcer is healed and the duodenum has opened up again. La-LA!!
Friday he had an echo and a CAT scan. Today he saw McGee and got results. I was prepared. I sent a note to McGee requesting that they please cover the medical items before Golf Talk.
The crazy insane blood sugars are probably the result of the current chemo, and keep monitoring as we have been. No sweat. We can do that.
The echo showed his heart is fine, there is no abscess or infection at the heart valves, which is a concern with what he's been through. The CAT scan showed that there are no new tumors and the existing ones have not grown.
I'll repeat that.
NO NEW TUMORS; NO GROWTH.
Per Dr McGee.... “we could not be happier with the results. Tell her to keep doing what's she's doing. Now let's talk golf.”
Life is good. Thank you for all your prayers. We are enjoying the UP side of this journey today.
Lisa, so glad to hear some positive results. Prayers always.
